On Maundy Thursday, March 24 at 7:00pm, the United Methodist Church of Santa Cruz will present a one act performance based on the events of the Last Supper. Cast in contemporary times and featuring the music of Frank Sinatra, Iris Dement, Elvis Presley, John Prine, the Beatles, and the Blind Boys of Alabama, this look at a last supper among friends seeks to share the depth of the story in an accessible medium-popular music. The interpretation by the artists, musicians, and choirs of the United Methodist Church of Santa Cruz will include a communion shared with the attending congregation.

This event is free of charge and childcare will be provided. The church is at 250 California Street, between Bay and Laurel on the west side.
